HPCL constitues Swachchta implements at Vizag RS 

Visakhapatnam, July 15, 2018 (DNS Online) : On the occasion of 44 th foundation day of HPCL, the Visakh Refinery constituted Swachhta implements at Visakhapatnam railway station on Sunday. This equipment wil recycle Pet Bottle crusher, Bio-waste recycler Green Bins and Steel Dust bins with wheels etc. As part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, the HPCL Visakh refinery handed over these equipment to the Watair Division officials. Speaking on the occasion Director –Finance Mr. J. Ramamswamy expressed happiness over response for the Swachchta mission and vital role played by Railways in promotion of the noble mission. He appreciated the efforts of Waltair Division officials in shouldering social responsibility and up keeping

of railway premises clean & hygienic.

HPCL, Visakh refinery sanctioned Rs 22 Lakh for Swachhta implements and Rs 49.5 lakh for the construction of a modern toilet block” at Refreshing Longue” which will have modern facilities like recliners, shower baths etc apart from toilets.

Mr. J. Ramaswamy Director-Finance inaugurated it on platform 8 on Sunday. As a part of Swachchta Pakhwada, HPCL-Visakh refinery identified porters, cleaning staff of Visakhapatnam Railway Station as Swachch Ambassadors and distributed Caps, T-Shirts and Health Kits to 570 persons including school children.

Mr. K.Dhanunjeya Rao, ADRM - Waltair division, Mr. G.Suneel Kumar, Sr.DCM, Waltair, Higher officials of HPCL and Waltair Division were joined. Later a skit and puppet

show was organised at venue on Swachch Bharat which attracted the large gathering.
