Visakhapatnam, July 16, 2018 (DNS Online): Devotees in large number worshipped Sri Jagannatha Swamy in Kurmavatar, unique incarnation of Lord Srimahavishnu in Turnel Choultry, Visakhapatnam, on Monday. As part of the Jagannadh festival, special expertised team has been brought to decorated during this festival. Mr. PGVR Naidu (Ganababu), whip, Government of Andhra Pradesh visited the Gundicha and offered new silk clothes brought by Sri Kurmam temple authorities and offered special rituals on the occasion. Mr. B. Prasad, executive officer informed DNS that the queue lines were streamlined to provide darshan to all the devotees. Number of volunteers were on duty to serve devotees for the Ten day avatar festival. Devotees in large number reached the Gundicha house to offer special rituals to the lord Jagannadh in Kurmavatar.

The NGO organisations provided free Anna prasad distribution at the venue. Earlier, the daily rituals began with suprabhatam and archanas, the venue echoes with Jai Jagannadh chantings by the devotees
