*Amaravati, Aug 13, 2021 (DNS ):* The FTC Solar ,a US based  multi-national company today announced the Gigawatt Award.This award was intended to innovative designs for production of solar power on cost effective method.This award will be given to individuals or jointly for their innovation every year.This year Anurag Mapati and Rajesh S were conferred this award for their innovative designs for high leveldemonstration of FTC Solar's core in capturing solar power.This award includes 1000 US dollars and citation.Anurag Mapati is presently working as Director, Mechanical wing of FTC at Hyderabad and he is native of Atreyapuram in East Godavari district in AP State.He studied B.Tech from IIT Madras and his. father, Francis Mapati, retired

as Joint Director in Information and Public Relations Dept in AP and his Mother M Santhisree, is working as Librarian in Government Junior College Samalkota in East Godavari district
