TDP chief CBN likely to contest from Vizag by 2024

(DNS Report: P. Raja, Bureau Chief, Amaravati )

Amaravati, Oct 11 ( DNS Online):* Telugu Desam Party President Chandrababu Naidu has just started the exercise for the upcoming elections Accourding to relibule sources,. He is scrutinizing reports on a total of 175 assembly seats. At the same time Chandrababu is brewing over where he should compete from. Chandrababu competed for the first time from Chandragiri and won in 1978. From the same seat, he contested as a minister for the Congress in 1983 and lost to his uncle, NTR, at the hands of the TDP. Babu did not contest the elections in 1985 after that. By the time of the 1989 elections, Babu had moved to Kuppam. With this, Babu formed an inseparable bond with Kuppam. If all this is the case, there is also a debate in the party as to where Chandrababu

will contest in the coming elections. In fact the reason for this debate is that the TDP is still weakening in the heap.

When the YCP came to power it was strong enough to capture everything, including the local body elections in the heap. There is also talk that the YCP is trying hard to defeat Chandrababu this time. Babu is sure to compete either from Visakhapatnam North or Bhimili. We have to see how the VCP strategy on Uttaranchal will be if Babu Visakha comes. sources said.
