AP Govt Employees disappointed, 50 pc cut in HRA

*Amaravati , Jan 18, 2022 (DNS Online) :* Mr. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh recently discussed with state government employees JAC deligates that the government has decided to cutof HRA about present . Due to this employees shocked the decision .

The government has slashed the HRA from 30 per cent to 16 per cent for secretariat and HOD office employees. The government has given 16 per cent HRA to the basic pay of Guntur, Visakhapatnam, Nellore, Vijayawada and Velagapudi secretariat employees. The rest of the state has announced 8 per cent HRA. Government employees in the area are concerned.

The CCA given earlier has been revoked by the present government. The last TDP

government gave CCA to employees working in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. Employees are deeply dissatisfied with the YCP government’s action. According to the secretaries' report, the AP unions are impatient with the government's behavior. While the HRA, CCA and the government are in talks with the government to provide additional pensions to retired employees of 70 and 75 years of age.
