*Amaravati, Sept 22, 2022 (DNS Online) :* Mr Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways laid foundation for eight national highways on Thursday in Rajamahendravaram. These projects to be taken up at a cost of Rs.3,000 crore in the two Godavari districts at a function organized in the premises of Rajamahendravaram Arts College, in Andhra Pradesh. 
As part of these works, 5 bridge works,Three roads were constructed.
 environment "NH 516 E" Rampachodavaram to Koyyuru section is under construction of two lines of road.
 Eco-tourism promotes development of tribal areas by minimal acquisition of land for conservation.  Connectivity to Lambasinghi - Araku tourist areas will be made available as part of

safe, better and faster intra-state connectivity through Alluri Sitarama Raju district.   With the objective of removing five black spots for passenger safety, Rs.  Four-lane flyovers are being constructed at a cost of ₹.215 crore to provide hassle-free traffic to important destinations like Morampudi, Jonnada, Undrajavaram, Thetali, & Kaikaram, Namavaram - Satellite City.is being built.  

Two greenfield projects consisting of four lines from Samarlakota to Acchampeta Junction on NH 516F and from Vakalapudi to Annavaram via Uppada Beach Road have been designed under Vakalapudi Port Connectivity. Kakinada district will provide inter-state connectivity, cost reduction, better port connectivity, boost transportation of rice, sea food, other food products, iron ore, bio-fuel, granite etc.,

development of industrial, transport, agri-tourism sectors through which gradual employment in these areas.  Imagination is possible .. through such projects to bring socio-economic prosperity in Andhra Pradesh, to change the economic system of the people here.  "Atmanirbhar Bharat" will be possible by undertaking such massive initiatives, said ghatkari.
