Anantapuram Range DIG M. Ravi Prakash , has issued an order suspending CI Srinivas, Constables Madhu Babu, Ganganna and Home Guard Ramesh in the incident of suicide of a person named Kuraba Ramanzineyu at Rayadurgam Urban Police Station. District SP Dr

Fakkirappa , was appointed as the inquiry officer and suspended based on the preliminary report. The DIG has issued instructions to the police officers in the range to take strict action to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

No one should be brought to the police stations unnecessarily... Even if they are summoned, they should be immediately interrogated and brought before the court within 24 hours. Apart from this, the DIG warned that not only the S I s and C Is but also the DSPs should be punished with in case of incidents like Rayadurgam. DiG Added.
