Prasad aids serves amenities at temples in AP

*Amaravati, Mar 20, 2023 (DNS Online):* Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy said that the Government of India is implementing the 'Prasad' scheme as part of the development of tourism in the country and is allocating crores of rupees for this purpose. The Union minister said that the tourism department will provide financial assistance for the development of tourism. Central Tourism Department will examine the proposals coming from the respective states of the country and take appropriate decisions will take as per impartencer Minister stated that while Rs.27.77 crores were approved for the

development of tourism in Amaravati town of Andhra Pradesh, 100% funds have been sanctioned to that extent and the works have also been completed. The MP said that Rs.43.08 crores have been approved for the development of Srisailam Temple, Rs.54.04 crores have been approved for the development of Sri Varahalakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Visakha district Simhachalam (2022-23), and proposals have been received for two more projects.

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy told MP Bharat that proposals have been received for the development of Annavaram Sri Veeravenkata Satyanarayana Swamy Temple in Kakinada District and Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy Temple in Nellore District in the stste Minister said.
